- The Franca Lab is seeking a post-doctoral researcher with a solid track record of publications and hands-on experience in microfluidics, organs-on-a-chip, cell culture, and cancer biology. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biology, Dentistry, or a related field, with the ability to manage multiple projects and independently plan, execute, and analyze experiments. - The Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center at the Knight Cancer Institute is seeking a post-doctoral scholar with experience in immunology, including cell culture, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescent staining, to work with Dr. Rebekka Duhen as part of a collaborative project with our Biofabrication Hub. The project will investigate the process of adaptive immune cell extravasation and infiltration into normal and malignant organoids derived from patient samples using a bioengineered in vitro device. Experience with organoid culture, patient sample processing, and/or biofabrication methods is a plus.
